For 20 years, scarecrows have popped up around our village, bringing smiles, surprises, and a little autumn magic to Schomberg. Now it’s time to build the next generation of Schomberg Scarecrows!
 

Make an afternoon of it while the weather is still lovely. Gather the family, pull out those old clothes, find some straw, and see what kind of character you can create together. Funny, spooky, fancy, or completely outrageous—we want to see them all! 
 

This year, you can earn bonus points by adding something to your scarecrow that celebrates 20 years of Schomberg Scarecrows. Think birthday hats, a “20” sign, or your own creative twist!
 

The contest is free to enter, and you could win prizes supplied by our local businesses. Register your scarecrow by October 21 at schomberg.ca under the Schomberg Scarecrow tab.
